14 - Nah dran - an Prof. Dr. Hubert Kleinert
Hubert Kleinert ist nicht nur Sozialwissenschaftler, Professor und Autor - er gehörte auch zur ersten grünen Bundestagsfraktion, was damals ein enormes Medienecho auslöste. Mit ihm schaue ich zurück auf diese bewegte Zeit, als Bonn noch die Hauptstadt war. Außerdem plaudern wir mit dem gebürtigen Melsunger über die Studienzeit in der Unistadt Marburg und seine ersten Schritte in der Wissenschaft. Was er sonst noch zu grüner Politik zu sagen hat und welchen -ismus er gar nicht leiden kann, entlocke ich ihm in dieser Episode. Diesmal frühlingsfrisch mit zwitschernden Vögeln und einem lauen Windhauch im Hintergrund, denn wir befinden uns in Bauerbach.

12 - Nah dran - an Rita Vaupel
Eine der bekanntesten sozialen Initiativen in unserer Stadt ist „Die Tafel Marburg e.V.“ - untrennbar verbunden mit Rita Vaupel, der engagierten Vorsitzenden. Rita nimmt uns mit hinein in die Arbeit der Tafel, denn durch die Corona-Krise hat sich die Verteilung der Lebensmittel grundlegend verändert und auch eine neue Personengruppe wurde aufgenommen: Studierende. Rita erzählt uns auch von dem „Kilo-Laden“ in der Bahnhofsstraße, bei dem jede*r Second-Hand-Artikel zum Kilopreis kaufen kann. Dank vieler ehrenamtlicher Mitarbeiter*innen, starker Sponsoren und dem unermüdlichen Einsatz von Rita ist dies möglich. Sie verrät uns, was sie motiviert, warum es ihr nie an Arbeit und Aufgaben mangelt und wozu ihr bisher der Mut gefehlt hat.
