Avun 90-vuotisjuhlasarjassa jokaiselle vuosikymmenelle 1930-luvulta tähän päivään kuullaan yksi henkilökohtainen tarina. Kirjailija, biologi ja luonnonsuojelija Juha Kauppinen potee ilmastoahdistusta, mutta on myös toiveikas. Muutos on mahdollinen. Yksilöiden valinnat eivät kuitenkaan riitä, tarvitaan fundamentaalisia muutoksia. Luonto herättää suomalaisissa vahvoja tunteita. Kauppinen näkee syyn historiassa. Suomen nousutarinassa sotakorvauksia maksavasta maasta vaurastuvaksi teollisuusmaaksi luonnonvarojen käyttäminen on ollut keskeisessä osassa. Luonnonsuojelu on ollut uhka tälle edistyspyrkimykselle.

Maija Vilkkumaan kolmas soololevy Ei (2003) nosti hänet kotimaisen rockin kärkeen. Hän on suomirockin kuningatar. 2010 Vilkkumaa sai Juha Vainio -palkinnon ansioistaan sukupolvensa lauluntekijöiden suunnannäyttäjänä.
