Sometimes you'll find your strength and others' weakness in trauma. Sometimes you find your flaws aren't actually your flaws. Sometimes you realize people will let you down. Not because they wanted to but because they didn't have the strength not to. As this multi-episode series dives into moments of authenticity from Kris' perspective, it's important to remember these events are both personal and healing. They aren't meant to make anyone sad or mad...or comfortable. (You'll understand that last one when you listen") *My Mom, Grandmother and uncle are now deceased but necessary conversations were had with them so there are no more answers to be given, no ears to hear any verbal thrashings and no opportunities to apologize...just my tears of gratitude for the forgiveness and the peace I get to have.
