There are thousands of brand names, store names, products, and just “things” that are named after people. So in each episode of my podcast I’ll give you the back story to a recognisable product, shop or thing. The stories are fascinating, and I’ll reveal the name at the end.
Episodes of the podcast will be released each time a fundraising milestone is met. So you can advertise your business on this podcast, or even just get a shoutout by donating to keep the podcast going. Head to buymeacoffee.com/NameTales for more information.

Hi, Simon Owens here from the Name Tales Podcast.
I just wanted to drop in a thank you to everyone who has listened to the podcast through season one. I’ve written, recorded and released 50 episodes.
I’ve got other projects I’m working on, so this podcast will be taking a break.
I will come back with another series but for now I’ve have to finish the sitcom I’m writing, the book I’m writing, keep working on the youtube channel, And put together a second book when i haven’t even finished the first one.
So keep in touch via nametalespodcast@gmail.com (mailto:nametales@gmail.com), or on any of the social media platforms. You can find me at simonowensradio on youtube, facebook, instagram, tiktok, and X
I look forward to bringing you season two of Nametales in the new year.
Until then, thanks for the pleasure of your company.
