This was a Final Project for an English Class of mine 2 years ago. I'm just now getting back into podcasting and wanting to revamp things by doing an episode each week for 6 weeks of different topics that interest me. We might do deeper dives based on feedback or what we come across but I hope you enjoy what we dive into.

Nate's Look at Life - A Wrap Up and Conclusion to My Applied Project Perspective on Grief and Loss

This is my final episode for now. I conclude with some of my thoughts and feelings on the topics, along with touching on some of the previous interviews and how they connect to my research and personal experiences. I have used a bit of the Phenomenological Tradition in terms of the lens through which I have explored the experiences of people's grief processes and the ways in which they cope.

Being able to have an interview/discussion format where we are able to entertain and educate in that same space was great to discover and be able to find my own voice and cadence when it comes to that area. Your Story and Perspective Matters. I appreciate those that have listened and/or shared this with others that may be able to find some help, advice, or perspective.

Grief Blog: http://nathanmcbride.wixsite.com/nates-look-at-life

Feel free to reach out to me if this has helped at all, if you would want me to change up the format, or if you would want to be on as a guest at a later date.

Nate's Look at Life - An Interview with Tom Lobaugh About How Nonverbals and Humor are Correlated with Grief

In this episode, I have a discussion with my Nonverbal Communication Professor Tom Lobaugh regarding Grief and its wide range of impacts that it can have on an individual, community, and Society as we have gone through COVID and the repercussions that have come from it. We go over and try to connect his experience and expertise with things that may help the listener like coping mechanisms, traditions surrounding and various nonverbal tells that can hopefully help you as you engage with others. It was quite an enlightening experience and a delightful conversation on the human experience and how we are best able to navigate those difficulties with people that care for us as we evolve with the times and different encounters we can have.

His Information can be found at: https://www.boisestate.edu/dept-communication/department-faculty-and-staff/thomas-lobaugh-4/

Grief Blog: http://nathanmcbride.wixsite.com/nates-look-at-life

For this episode, I interview my cousin and good friend Caleb Davidson on his experiences with Grief and Loss and what has brought him peace and comfort in those darker times.
