Former Shelby County Commissioner Edmund Ford Jr. is facing a sentence of 2 years in prison and 2 years of supervised probation. This comes after his he was taken into federal custody in February of 2025 and charged with bribery and kickback regarding federal funds. He was also facing six counts of attempted tax evasion and has 45 days to report to court.
