Follow the adventures of Ranger Rae and the Wildlifers, a crew of colourful creatures who use their special skills to help where there's trouble in nature. Beaver’s a super engineer. Sleepy Bat’s skill is sonar. Wildcat’s a proud predator. Deer’s strong and speedy. Fox has a nose for trouble. Shy Mole’s an expert digger, and Dragonfly’s always buzzing. Ranger Rae’s the leader and can understand animals. And 12-year-old Apprentice Roxy dreams of becoming a real Ranger and being able to talk to wildlife too. In each story, the Wildlifers go on a curious case. They travel to different places in the natural world, from coastlines and remote islands to forests and city streets, and meet a host of weird and wonderful creatures along the way. Things That Go Hoot in the Night
Roxy’s desperate to see the animal at the top of her night walk wish list – the owl she’s been hearing from her bedroom. On a quest into the city with Ranger Rae, Bat, Fox and Mole, the crew meet lots of friends along the way. Bat’s excited to see their cousins down by the canal. Fox comes face to face with Urban Fox on the hunt for a takeaway. And Mole simply wants to cover themselves in juicy worms. The Masked Stinger
The crew are up on Marsden Moor but all is not as it seems. Ranger Rae, Roxy, Mole, Dragonfly are surrounded by the sneakiest creatures on the planet – animals who pretend to be other animals. Buzzing in the City
Bee’s getting all the attention and Wasp’s jealous. Why do people love bees so much and not wasps anyway? The two stripy enemies call the Wildlifers to sort out the argument once and for all. Dragonfly can’t wait to be on this mini-beastly case, but no-one can understand their buzzing. But luckily the Wildlifers’ new pal Luca’s invented an insect interpreter so the crew can understand Dragonfly for the first time. Lost and Found at Sea
Emergency! Emergency! Seal sounds the alarm at Bae Ceredigion in Wales, after a little boy loses his honorary Wildlifer badge in the sea and is desperate to get it back. Ranger Rae, Roxy, Beaver and Deer are on the case, but no-one has quite the right skills for the underwater quest. Luckily someone at the bay can help. Luca is an inventor extraordinaire and somewhere among his gadgets, could there be just the thing to help the Wildlifers? The crew get help from the local animals and old friend Basking Shark. A new series of Ranger Rae and the Wildlifers is here. Awooo! Follow the adventures of Ranger Rae and the Wildlifers, a crew of colourful creatures who use their skills to solve curious cases. Shy Mole’s an expert digger, and Dragonfly’s always buzzing. In Series Two, 12-year old Roxy has finally become a real Wildlifer and can talk to animals. Who knew that there are rainforests right here in the UK? The Wildlifers’ wits are tested when they try to catch a green-fingered thief in Borrowdale Rainforest. Someone has been stealing lichen, a strange plant life form that’s made of fungus and algae, and is essential for forest life. While the gang are solving the puzzle, they meet a local, Cuckoo. But there’s something a bit strange about this bird. Can they trust Cuckoo or will their feathered friend land them in trouble? Ep 2. Mountain Rescue at Ben Nevis
The Wildlifers must navigate the snowy peaks of the mighty Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain. Golden Eagle has called for the gang’s help to find a mystery hiker who’s gotten themselves stuck. Ranger Rae, Apprentice Roxy, Deer and Bat are on the case. Ben Nevis is home to unique characters, like Mountain Hare, who camouflages themselves against the snow and has a disconcerting habit of popping up unannounced. Bat gets the ride of his life on the back of his new friend Eagle to locate the hiker. He just needs to stay awake long enough in the daytime to make the mission a succezzzzzz... Ep 1. Puffin Panic at the Farne Islands
Puffin calls the Wildlifers for help when an unwelcome visitor, an escaped pet rat, is causing chaos on the remote Farne Islands. Ranger Rae and the Wildlifers are in a race against time to catch that rat and return it to its owner before it can cause any problems for the seabirds. Luckily, the Wildlifers each have amazing adaptations to help them on their quests to help people and animals in trouble in the natural world. Beaver is an engineering genius, but can he keep his pride at bay? Meanwhile pristine predator Wildcat tries to resist her natural taste for rodents. Joining the adventure is 12-year-old Apprentice Roxy. She’s on a personal mission to achieve her dream of becoming a real Ranger and to be able to talk to animals. Introducing: Ranger Rae and the Wildlifers
Follow the adventures of Ranger Rae and the Wildlifers, a crew of colourful creatures who use their special skills to help wherever there’s trouble in nature. Beaver’s a super engineer. Sleepy Bat’s skill is sonar. Wildcat’s a proud predator. Deer’s strong and speedy. Fox has a nose for trouble. Shy Mole’s an expert digger, and Dragonfly’s always buzzing. Ranger Rae’s the leader and can understand animals. And 12-year-old Apprentice Roxy dreams of becoming a real Ranger and being able to talk to wildlife too. In each story, the Wildlifers go on a curious case. They travel to different places in the natural world, from coastlines and remote islands to forests and city streets, and meet a host of weird and wonderful creatures along the way. From catching an escaped pet rat on a remote island, to solving the mystery of a giant bat or tracking a magpie thief through city streets, the gang’s skills are put to the test in their quest to help the natural world. Tillie Amartey is in the north east of England to explore Hadrian’s Wall, and the ancient civilisation that built it – the Romans. But when an accident sends Tillie 2000 years back in time, she finds herself much closer to Roman life than she bargained for. As Tillie tries to get back to the modern day, she discovers the surprising things Romans brought to Britain, finds out why they were definitely cat people, and learns some Latin insults.
