First Landing: America's Forgotten Covenant with God
<p><strong>Episode Description:</strong> Before Jamestown, before Plymouth Rock, before the Declaration of Independence—on April 29, 1607, English settlers landed at Cape Henry, Virginia, erected a wooden cross, and dedicated this land to Jesus Christ. Reverend Robert Hunt prayed a covenant: "We do hereby dedicate this Land to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel and to raise up Godly generations...may this Land be Evangelist to the World." For over 400 years, American Christians have sent more missionaries than any nation.
