The scholars share with us their research, experiences with NATSA, and professional development topics such as work-life balance, tips for publishing, teaching, etc. - Season two features issues embedded in the academic structure that led to common mental health problems. We explore questions such as what are the physical and mental struggles Taiwanese grad students and young scholars go through in North American academia? What are some common myths and anxieties of academic life? How do we navigate those moments of despair in grad school? The two hosts of the podcast program will approach these issues from their own experiences, in the hope to provide others with some consolation and a sense of solidarity, if not useful advice and solutions.
