Hello! So as you can tell from the title this is my wonderful friend Kassie's DV survival story! This is a heavy episode in which we touch on Kassie's abusive relationship in depth. There is a lot of physical and mental abuse that is depicted in this episode. This is a survival story though so we also take you through Kassie's healing journey after her relationship and the process it took for her to love herself fully again! At some point we do analyze a recent DV movie (It Ends With Us) and how we feel it portrayed DV and survivors. This story is so important not only to bring light to DV situations but to also bring light to how strong the survivors are and how much work it takes for them to become a whole new person.
The BIGGEST thank you to my beautiful, strong and wonderful friend Kassie! Thank you for trusting me with your story and trusting everyone else with it as well!
We both hope this story helps anyone struggling with any type of abuse and sheds some light on how people who experience abuse are among some of the strongest and badass!
Love you the most Kass!
I am going to put in some Domestic Violence resources underneath, if you are someone struggling with abuse or if you suspect someone you love is struggling with abuse please share this story with them and remind them they are important and worthy of love!

Episode 7: A Battle with Breast Cancer, Coping with Cancer and Survivors Guilt
It's Breast Cancer Awareness month!! As someone who has had so many people in my life affected by cancer I always knew I wanted to do an episode highlighting how horrible this sickness is. In this episode you get a personal experience from someone very close to me who battled breast cancer. She (Kassie) shares her story of fighting for a diagnosis and the hard decisions she was faced with making along the way. She also talks about how much cancer has affected others in her life and battling with survivors guilt along the way! This is a heavy topic but one I feel is so important to bring light to and get an inside look with someone who recently went through this experience.
Thank you to my amazing, beautiful, strong friend Kassie for sharing her story and being so open and honest and sharing something that will hopefully make someone in the world not feel so alone!
Be safe, get your girlies checked and never let any doctor push you over if you feel something is wrong. Love you all, enjoy the episode!
