Here, we talk about what it really looks like to walk with God when clarity is limited and the path isn’t mapped out. You’ll hear reflections on discernment, identity, and learning to recognize His voice in the middle of it all. At times, I’ll also share conversations and stories from others who have walked through their own wilderness seasons and encountered God there.

Digging Your Well: Hearing God's Voice Through Scripture
Feel like God has gone quiet in your wilderness season? The wilderness may be the place where He speaks the most.
In this episode, Nicole goes deeper into hearing God's voice, starting with Scripture as the foundation. She talks about "digging your well": filling your spirit with God's Word so the Holy Spirit can draw from it, whether through a verse that comes to mind in a hard moment, a dream, or something you notice in everyday life.
Nicole shares how she went from reading the Bible out of duty to reading it out of desire, the 40-day fast that opened up a season of God speaking through dreams, and a passage in Luke 20–21 that changed how she sees the widow's offering. She also gives practical tips for studying Scripture for yourself, like reading past the chapter breaks, using your imagination, learning context, and asking what a passage reveals about God.

God is Refining the Church: Guarding Your Heart in a Season of Shaking
We are living through a season of shaking and refining. Corruption is being exposed, people are hurting, cynicism is growing, and it can be incredibly easy to become consumed with everything that’s wrong around us.
But what if, while we’re examining everyone else, God is asking us to allow Him to examine our own hearts?
In this episode, Nicole talks about the subtle distractions that can keep us from hearing God clearly, the danger of allowing cynicism and unresolved pain to shape our discernment, and why we need humility in a season of exposure.
She also shares a striking dream about a church with a wilderness at its center and structures being burned to the ground—and what it caused her to consider about the dismantling and refining happening within the Church.
This isn’t about ignoring injustice or remaining silent about abuse. It’s about discerning what God has actually called us to carry, what we’re unnecessarily amplifying, and when something troubling us may be an invitation to intercede rather than react publicly.
