Neil Meekin - The Pool of Life Podcast Episode #9 - Dr Jens Thomas - A Road Less Travelled

Welcome to the Pool of Life Podcast Episode #9 with Dr Jens Thomas. Co-founder of Liverpool based social-enterpise Farm Urban, with Dr Paul Myers who I interviewed in Episode #6. As always the interview was conducted in nature as we walked through the stunning Dibbinsdale Woods on the Wirral in Merseyside. I was introduced to this special place by my cousin and so if you're on Merseyside do go and check it out.    What can I say..this was a powerful and deep conversation (as I anticipated). In the first part of the podcast its always appreciated to explore the early years and the life trajectory and experiences that shape a person. It's wide-ranging conversation about his life,  from sailing to Australia and living in remote Argentina, to quantum chemistry, music, and the origins of Farm Urban. As with the my own inner work and the Pool of Life, Jens also has shares his own inner work as we explore spiritual practices like the Diamond Approach, the importance of trust, grief, kindness, and gratitude. Its also about how new ways of living and working can emerge in tune with nature as an antidote to the extractive and destructive modern systems that we live in.  Jens is definitely someone who embodies #beingthechange - Enjoy
