イソップの昔話2匹のヤギ
2匹の山羊 イソップのむかし話 2匹のヤギが楽しそうに飛び跳ねながら険しい岩山をそれぞれ降りて来て、激流が下に流れる谷間で向かい合わせになりました。 谷間には、2匹のリスでもすれ違うのがギリギリの細さの木が、橋の代わりに横たわっていました。 それは、勇気があるものでも渡るとなると足がすくんで震えてしまうようなものでした。しかし、ヤギは違います。どちらもプライドが高く、お互い譲るということをしりません。一方が渡り始めると、もう一方も向こう側からわたりはじめました。木の両端から渡り出したヤギたちは真ん中で角がぶつかりますがどちらも引きません。なので、両方とも橋から落ちて激流の中へと巻き込まれていきました。 この話の教訓 頑固さから不幸になるくらいなら,負けておいた方が良い

猫とネズミ イソップのむかし話
猫とネズミ イソップのむかし話 ねずみたちはある日、宿敵の猫から自由になるためにどうしたらよいか相談する会議をひらきました。 少なくとも彼らは敵がいつ来るかを知ることができればと思いました。そうすれば、逃げる時間を確保することができますから。 実際彼らは、いつ猫が鋭い爪を引っ掻き回して襲ってくるのではないかと常に怯えて暮らしていたのです。 多くの案がでましたが、どれも、いまいちでした。すると、まだひよっこのねずみが立ち上がっていいました。 「なんで気がつかなかったんだろう！とてもいい案を思いつきました！ 猫の首に鈴を掛けてさえすればいいじゃないか！鈴が鳴るのを聞いたら、猫が近づいているとすぐにわかるでしょう。」 ネズミは皆、誰もそのような案を思いつかなかったことに非常に驚き、名案だと喜んでいる中で、年老いたネズミが立ち上がり、言いました。 「それは名案だろう。しかし、誰が猫に鈴をつけるのですか?」 この話の教訓 何かを行うべきだと言う事と、行う事はまったく別問題です。 おしまい

雄牛とカエル（イソップ童話）
雄牛とカエル 牛が葦の茂った水たまりに水を飲みに来た所、そこにいた小さいカエルを踏み潰してしまいました 年寄りのカエルが、小さいカエルが見当たらないので皆に尋ねました 「小さいカエルはどこへ行ったのかい？」 すると、他のカエルたちは言いました 「ちいさなカエルは大きな化け物の足に踏み潰されてしまいました」 それを聞いて年寄りのカエルはカラダを膨らませて言いました 「大きいっていうのはこれくらいかい？」 すると、他のカエルたちが、 「いやいや、もっともっとぜんぜん大きかったよ」 「それじゃあこれくらいかい？」 「いや、もっともっとおおきかったよ」 「これくらいかい」 「まだまだ」 「これは？」 とふくらました途端に年寄りのかえるは破裂してしまいましたとさ。 この話の教訓 無理はほどほどに
