Čuvar tradicije i kulture. 180 godina hotela Kvarner
Grand Hotel Kvarner povijesno je najstariji hrvatski hotel na Jadranu .Prvotno je planiran kao sanatorij za plućne bolesnike i zbog njega je obližnje groblje premješteno na drugu lokaciju. Iza čitave inicijative i investicije stajalo je Društvo južnih željeznica i njegov ravnatelj, Friedrich Julius Schüler, dok su izvođači radova bili inženjeri Wilhelm i Meese. Najstariji je južni, klasicistički formirani korpus hotela. Sjeverni dio u početku je udomljavao tople kupke. Na mjestu izgorjelih toplih kupki podignuta je 1913. poznata Kristalna dvorana. epadanasa hotela, Villa Amalia bila je namijenjena elitnim gostima. U njoj su boravili rumunjski kraljevski par Karol i Elizabeta, a u njoj se dogodio i 1894. susret careva Franje Josipa I. i Vilima II., vojvoda Alfred od Nassaua proslavio je svoj srebrni pir. Balerina Isidora Duncan, ima svoje poglavlje te dinastija Savoia. U hotelu je zanimljiv muzeološki postav, u kojem su vidljivi ostaci originalnih zidova do kojih se došlo sondiranjem rekonstrukcijom povijesnih slojeva boje i drugo. Gost emisije je prof.dr.Amir Muzur.
