Episode 24 - Beyond "High Vibe": Receiving and Creating Through the Dark with Sarah Lines

What if you don't need to be "high vibe," fully healed, or emotionally untouched before you're allowed to receive? In this episode of Nervous System Alchemy, Rachel is joined by Sarah Lines for a raw and expansive conversation about continuing to create, serve, and receive while moving through the dark. Sarah shares what unfolded during a period when she was navigating depression and supporting her autistic son through severe bullying and isolation—while simultaneously experiencing an unexpected $60K month in her business. Her story challenges the spiritual idea that we must feel good, think positively, or rise above our humanity before life can meet us. Rachel and Sarah also explore what happens when we give our authority away to teachers and coaches, and the difference between following someone else's formula and integrating what you've learned into a path that is truly your own. In this episode Why receiving doesn't require emotional perfection - or a certain "high vibe" state How purpose and mission can carry us through profoundly difficult seasons The reality that pain, service, creation, and success can coexist What Sarah learned from investing six figures in coaching and mentorship How we unconsciously outsource our power, and what it takes to reclaim it The difference between copying someone else's model and creating from your own gifts Why experiencing the full range of human emotions does not make you less powerful, spiritual, or available for what wants to come through you About Sarah Lines Sarah Lines is the founder of New Earth School, supporting healers, coaches and lightworkers in turning their gifts into real income through the Mission to Matter™ Framework. Episode 23 - Pluto in Aquarius and the Nervous System of the Coaching Industry

Why are so many people burned out, disillusioned, or simply done with the spiritual coaching world right now? And what is Pluto in Aquarius revealing about the deeper shift underneath it? In this episode of Nervous System Alchemy, Rachel explores the changing relationship between power, authority, teaching, and spiritual knowledge - and what's happening as Pluto powers through the collective in Aquarius, and Uranus breaks up information structures in Gemini. Information is radically more accessible, and the need for a nervous system capable of processing the influx, staying regulated, and discerning what matters has never been more clear. Along the way, Rachel shares her own experience of placing spiritual teachers on pedestals, what happened when those pedestals fell, and the deeper work of reclaiming the authority she had unconsciously given away. In this episode Why burnout and disillusionment are surging in the coaching world What Pluto reveals about hidden power structures The fall of guru energy and what teaching may evolve into next How AI is changing our relationship to information and expertise Why a nervous system response matters, but the first story attached to it may not be true Why not every no is resistance, and not every yes is expansion How healthy teaching strengthens your discernment rather than creating dependence Embodied Astrology Rachel also shares how these experiences have shaped the next evolution of her Embodied Astrology work, bringing together depth astrology, somatic nervous system awareness, and the Akashic Field. This small-group cohort is designed to help you develop your own embodied relationship with astrology, deepen your intuitive perception, and learn to read charts through a living language of pattern, myth, symbol, cycles, and timing. Episode 22 - Nervous System Regulation in a World on Fire with Dr. Leslie Carr

Is focusing on your nervous system right now a way of opting out of collective reality, or a powerful way to meet it? In this episode, Rachel sits down with Dr. Leslie Carr to explore an important question: does regulation simply mean "staying calm," or is it something far deeper? And when the world feels this urgent, is caring for your nervous system a distraction from what really matters – or exactly what this moment is asking of us? Together, they unpack the difference between true regulation and simply calming down, the impact of doomscrolling and collective stress on the body, how to stay present during challenging times, and why caring for your nervous system is not disengagement – it may be one of the most powerful forms of participation. In This Episode We Explore: What nervous system regulation actually means and why it's not equivalent to "being calm" How to stay engaged without burning out Doomscrolling, overwhelm, and the loss of self/other boundaries Presence, sensation, and practical tools for real life Why joy, pleasure, and wellbeing matter in difficult times How caring for yourself can help you better care for others If this conversation resonates, be sure to follow the podcast and share this episode with someone someone feeling the weight of these times.
