[…] Okay, I mentioned before that the nastiest of the two tests is the asset test. And basically, the asset test says that, okay, once you exceed the asset test threshold, your pension will be reduced by $3 per thousand. So, $10 ,000 over, you're going to lose $30 per fortnight. So, Centrelink differentiate between retirees with a home and retirees without a home. So, the homeowner's asset test for a single person goes to $321 ,500. So, you can have assets over and above your family home, $321 ,500 and qualify for the full pension from Centrelink. Now, just a word on your house. A lot of people hear this kind of myths that, oh, you know, they're going to include the house, they're going to do this, they're going to do that. […]
