Podcast Overview

I’m Sam D.G., a late-diagnosed autistic woman, also living with ADHD, OCD, & CPTSD. As someone who has navigated complex trauma, late diagnosis, and systemic exclusion, I started Neurospective to create the support I never had, and to start a conversation to advocate for much needed resources that currently don't exist. My idea is to use storytelling, education, and advocacy to build the kind of community I’ve always needed: inclusive, honest, and deeply human. I want to create a space that's real where we can connect, stop surviving quietly, and start healing loudly, together.

Episode 4 Preview: “Too High-Functioning to Matter?” (Feat. Brandon Stanley) "You’re too 'normal' to be autistic." That’s just one of the labels Brandon Stanley has had to push back against. In this preview of our upcoming conversation, Brandon opens up about what it’s like to live in the “in-between” space, where you’re seen as too high-functioning to need help, but still face the real challenges of autism every day.
