Podcast Overview

There are a ton of podcasts about dating and relationships but We realized there wasn’t really a podcast focused on the type of advice you get from your group chat, like what to say on dating apps, dealing with sketchy matches, and everything that comes with it. Britt, Chanelle, and Lauren are three best friends in their late 20s who grew up together. The name “Nevermind, He Texted Me” comes from the group chat convo we have all had; the one where your friend says she hates him and is never texting him again, only to be followed up a few minutes later by the words, “nvm, he texted me.”

27. Catfishing the Catfish ft. Chad Huber (Part 2): The Pornstar Who Volunteers at the Orphanage

This episode is a continuation of episode 26, so if you haven't listened, go back to that first! Part 2 goes into more examples of internet scams, including medical scams (need money for medical bills, my family member is sick, etc), and another scam that has been mistaken for sex trafficking (it's not). Chad also tells us how he got a scammer to leave her husband for him and how he confused two scammers so badly, they both claimed to be the same person. We also talk about where to see a day in the life of a Nigerian scammer (see below for name of show/where to watch), what happens when a scammer threatens you (can they really hurt you?), and what happens when a victim of a scammer is doing illegal money laundering activities without realizing (can they really get in trouble?). Plus, a urhole counter at the end! Can you count how many times we said Urhole during the two parts of the episode??

Follow Chad on Tiktok @chadhuber

Follow us on IG/Tiktok @nvmhetextedme

Watch a day in the life of a scammer: Trafficked, season 2, episode 2 on Hulu or for free on abc.

26. Catfishing the Catfish ft. Chad Huber (Part 1): How’s Urhole??

You might remember Chad Huber from some previous episodes, but if this is your first time hearing him on our show, get ready!! Chad has a Tiktok account where he interacts with internet scammers, goes along with their scams (obviously without sending money or real personal info), and fucks with them. Then, he makes videos of the interactions with a hilarious, sarcastic commentary while also explaining background info and giving insightful info on what to look for to know you’re being scammed. The best part is the comments - there’s always someone who doesn’t understand what’s going on, and thinks Chad is just catfishing people for fun or really being scammed himself. Part 1 will go into one of Chad’s more drawn out scenarios, featuring the one and only, Urhole. Yes, her name is Urhole. And yes, we make “your hole” jokes the entire time. We also discuss a time recently where Chanelle was targeted as a victim of a scam, but then it wasn’t a scam, but then actually it was a scam. We get Chad’s opinion on this and talk about how far scammers will go to get their money, even if it means creating a death hoax! Check out Chad’s content on Tiktok @chadhuber
