New Hope Worship Center is a church located in Concord, NC. Our goal is to give people Hope. We pray that you receive the Hope of Jesus through our teachings and sermons!
What would happen if you stopped asking God to change the things around you and started asking Him to change what is happening within you? In this week’s message, Search Me and My Heart, we continue our Powerful and Effective Prayers series by looking at David’s prayer in Psalm 139 and discovering what it means to invite God into the deepest parts of our lives. It is easy to deal with the surface issues while leaving the deeper struggles untouched, but real transformation begins when we humble our hearts, listen to God, and surrender even the areas we would rather keep to ourselves. God isn’t searching your heart to reject you or remind you of your failures. He already knows you completely, and He loves you enough to lead you toward something better. If there are things you have been avoiding, struggles you have grown comfortable with, or areas you know you need to surrender, this message is an invitation to stop hiding, trust God with the truth, and pray with an open heart, “Search me, God, and lead me in Your way.”

Praying in the Spirit
Have you ever struggled to pray because you weren’t sure what to say, what to ask for, or whether you were even praying the right way? In this week’s message, Praying in the Spirit, Pastor Dale continues our Powerful and Effective Prayers series by exploring what happens when we stop treating prayer as something we have to figure out on our own and begin to recognize the Holy Spirit’s role in our prayer lives. Through Romans 8 and other passages of Scripture, we discover that the Holy Spirit doesn’t just pray for us—He comes alongside us, guides us, and can even pray through us. This message challenges us to move beyond our own limitations, become more sensitive to the Spirit’s leading, and embrace the help God has already made available to us. If you’ve ever felt uncertain or inadequate in your prayer life, this is an invitation to let go of the pressure to have all the right words and discover what it means to pray with the help and power of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord Is My Shepherd
What does it really mean to say, “The Lord is my shepherd”? In this week’s message, Pastor Larry takes us on a deep dive into Psalm 23 as we continue our Powerful and Effective Prayers series, uncovering what changes when we stop seeing God simply as a good God and begin to know Him as our God—our Shepherd. Through the familiar words of this Psalm, we’re reminded that God provides what we need, gives us nourishment and rest, restores what has been broken, leads us through the valleys, and gives us peace even when the circumstances around us haven’t changed. The presence of an enemy doesn’t mean the absence of God; sometimes faith looks like sitting at the table He has prepared for us right in the middle of the battle. If you’ve been walking through a difficult season, feeling uncertain about what’s ahead, or simply need to be reminded of how good and faithful God is, this message will encourage you to lift your head, trust your Shepherd, and remember that His goodness and mercy are with you every step of the way.
