These episodes are recordings from our Sunday morning service. As a church, we follow our messages by discussing what the Holy Spirit has been drawing us to notice. A portion of that discussion is included.
Please feel free to use this material with your own circle of believers. We do ask you let us know.
Today's passage is difficult to preach, given how awful and horrendous the incident is which it records. Our message looks at the importance of taking our behaviour cues from the Lord's character, not from our culture or from our animal instincts.
The passage is for a community, not just for our individual learning, so that we together understand the kind of environment the church can be. Let's join the service.

How Could You Forgive Him
Have you ever felt like God is punishing you for your sins even though you asked for forgiveness and believe that Jesus forgives? How can both things be true? Today's talk looks at God's response to David's sin with Bathsheba. We look at the difference between punishment and consequence with the goal of finding hope to move forward after we have done something wrong.
We also look at our attitude towards the Lord's standards for our living. Let's join today's message.

Using Your Power to Get What You Want
Today's message looks at the very famous story of David and Bathsheba. We consider how our culture set us up to behave in the same way, going after what we want, whether it is good for us or not.
What happens to us during temptation, and why doesn't God seem to help? Please join us as we begin.
