About (new) music w/ kulla

When classical music is spoken about, it often centres the voices of male composers, musicians and thinkers. This broadcast dives deep into the experience of the women and minorities, who have been left out of the historical narrative. ‘(new) music w/ kulla’ brings you diverse set of perspectives on this rich and influential world of classical and contemporary music. Music is handpicked and introduced by composer Gregor Kulla and guests every other Tuesday at noon on IDA Radio.

Bára Gísladóttir: Animals of your pasture, ansamblile ja elektroonikale (2021). Esitajad on Riot Ensemble ja Aaron Holloway-Nahum. Francis Poulenc: Kontsert kahele klaverile ja orkestrile d-moll: I. Allegro ma non troppo (1932). Esitajad on Katia & Marielle Labèque, Boston Symphony Orchestra & Seiji Ozawa. Clara Iannotta.
