In this concluding episode, Dr Rob Sayers‑Brown is joined by Laura Whitworth to explore how organisations can begin to shift the gendered nature of leadership, and how women leaders can navigate it in the meantime.
Together, they unpack the ongoing conversation around confidence and capability, challenging the idea that women need to "fix themselves." Instead, they ask a more useful question: how do we build the capability to operate effectively within the systems that exist today?
They also explore what meaningful change really looks like, particularly in how leadership is evaluated. Are we confusing confidence with competence? Are we rewarding style over substance?
This is the work that reshapes systems, not overnight, but through sustained intent, clearer judgement and a willingness to rethink how power shows up in everyday decisions.
