018: Toupee Cocaine
A severed leg, a shark selfie gone wrong, and a toupee full of cocaine—this episode might be the strangest one yet! I dive straight into chaos as I unpack the California man who walked off with a severed leg after a deadly train collision, a scene so bizarre it broke the internet with its disturbing viral video. From there, I head to Florida, where TSA officers uncovered a handgun stuffed inside a raw chicken, raising the question of whether people are getting dumber or more creative at airport security. Things get even wilder as I cover the Canadian tourist in Turks and Caicos who lost both hands trying to photograph a shark, a reminder that wildlife isn’t interested in selfies. I break down the Colombian man caught smuggling cocaine under his toupee, Hertz charging a Tesla driver for “refueling,” a Las Vegas man who claimed aliens told him to kill his father, and a Florida roommate attacked with pizza dough. I wrap up with turtles in pants, a laundromat dismemberment destined for a casino, a bomb plot complete with python plans, a fart spray school evacuation, and over 100 animals living in a New Jersey home. Strange news doesn’t get stranger than this, and I’m here for every insane detail. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF THE STORIES! 017: Fake Chinese Pandas
From fake pandas and face-eating cannibals to fried chicken assaults and emotional support alligators—this episode proves truth is always stranger than fiction. This week on News with Bill, we start in Florida, where an 18-year-old woman was arrested for beating her 65-year-old boyfriend, proving once again that love and logic don’t mix in the Sunshine State. Then it’s off to Las Vegas, where a man “tweaking” on drugs reportedly ate his victim’s face, leading me to question whether horror movies are just following the news now. In Ohio, two women propped up a dead man to withdraw cash—talk about taking “weekend at Bernie’s” too literally. From a live eel removed from a man’s abdomen in Vietnam to a Chinese zoo painting dogs to look like pandas, the weird doesn’t stop there. Add in fake Chinese body armor sold to an Ohio SWAT team, a man named Deez-Nuts, and a Bible attack at Walgreens, and you’ve got one wild ride through the world’s strangest headlines. It’s disturbing, hilarious, and absolutely real—just another day on News with Bill. 010: Poisonous Snake Rentals
Woman soiled herself during a marathon Man eaten by piranhas while escaping a swarm of bees German castrater on trial Kid injects himself with mercury to turn into Wolverine Man lives with mobile phone in his stomach 10 weird overseas menu items from American fast food chains Elementary teacher arrested after student picks marijuana from reward box Man Rents Poisonous Snake to Kill His Wife Father Allegedly Shot Son Over Guitar Playing Chicken Wing Violence Pizza sauce led to arrest of car burglar So here it is - I am back after what certainly can be classified as an unreasonably long delay. While I won't offer excuses for my continued poor production and release schedule, I will offer an explanation. I recently made a change professionally, and this was a great decision and a great move for me. This along with my family responsibilities as a single father have really been occupying a majority of time. Things are looking like they are settling down now, and I thank you in advance for your understanding and support! Well you sure get the full compliment of stories in this episode... I mean, I would have found it interesting to get some marijuana edibles from the snack box in grade school and all, but no such luck. I typically find myself looking at food stories quite a bit. I always find it interesting what other people eat and how things are different in other regions of the United States and in other countries. The top ten list here does not disappoint! I hope that you enjoy this episode and as always, hit me up!

009: Centipede Bites Hurt
This episode pretty much has it all - unintentional cannibalism, stupid criminals, plasic surgery gone wrong, and an attack with hot grits! Where else could you possibly get a mix of stories like this? Check out the NWB Youtube channel HERE to see video short takes. Think single news stories that are maybe about 2 minutes or so. Also, full episodes are released there in audio-only format. I'm also experimenting with posting these short takes on Clapper and TikTok to see how engagement goes with each of those spots. 008: Rhino Head on Street Corner
Well, here we are back again with more news from the seedy underbelly of this rock that we all live on. Sure, there are stories about defecation, hammer attacks (not the rapper), and racists, but there are bright spots on the horizon... I hope... I continue to hope that my schedule will open up to the point that I can start publishing new episodes more frequently than every 4-6 weeks - my fingers are crossed! I also hope to start trying out some video shorts, and maybe start using a snack source that I have found for some international snack reviews! 005: Bake Like an Egyptian
So here I am back again with another collection of oddities. While there are a fewer number of stories this episode, a couple of them are longer than usual, so it all evens out in the end. First off, when you think about it, things really have to be bad for a criminal to call the cops on his victim, right? That is a weird convergence of carjacking and irresponsible parenting… And it is unbelievable what action the Egyptian government considers appropriate for some phallic cupcakes. I hope that this show is at least a slight glimmer of humor in this world of COVID, Chinese Rockets, and celebrities getting into odd sorts of troubles. 004: Lettuce Meltdown
So here we are... and where have we been? Well, I cannot use COVID nor the recent crazy political climate we have experienced here in the States as excuses. This one is on me. My day job has kept be extraordinarily busy, to the point that I was working quite a few evenings to get caught up on some time sensitive stuff. Of course, there are the extra work projects that I am a part of that have been eating at my time too. Nonetheless, here I am... back again! Aside from the usual assortment of crazy news, that you have come to know and regret, I was also able to add a personal story. My son and I tried the Firey Five Jelly Belly selections... we tried each flavor together - from Sriracha all the way up to Carolina Reaper! They were pretty spicy, and if I get my son's permission, I'll post the video of his reaction to the Carolina Reaper Jelly Belly here on the site! 003: Almond Milk is not Milk
Well, yet another episode with a story or two that kind of left me speechless... and one that caused my physical discomfort. By the story titles, can you guess which one? And this begs the question... if you volunteer for something or seek it out, can you later really be called a victim? I recorded this episode on Thanksgiving night, so I was full of ham, mac & cheese, other miscellaneous sides, and a Russian River Blind Pig to drink. You be the judge if the food coma and/or IPA had an impact on this episide - I won't tell you how much postproduction was required. 002: 78 Cats Make for a Happy Home
And we are back with another episode! Apologies since the extended delay since the last episode! I thought that it would be the perfect time to completely start the website over again which is still not done as of this writing... But as you will soon hear, strange tihngs come to those who wait! In this episode... - Don’t forget your clothes in the drive-thru - See-through public toilets in japan - Woman Beat Father Over His Flatulence - Phone Rescued from National Forest Toilet - 78 cats removed from Missouri home - Woman altered $100 cashier's check to $8.4 million - Toilet blocked by unwelcome visitors - One hit wonder with a Hatchet - Woman kicked out of bingo hall for not covering neck hole - 12 year-old boy suspended for not bringing a toy gun to school - Man decapitates mother and puts head in freezer - Iceland supermarket closed after human feces found in freezer You will no doubt be expecting that today’s episode yet again seems to have a lot of toilet-based stories. I don’t know what it is – these stories always seem to gravitate towards me. But don’t give up on us – we have a good mother decapitation, flatulence-based assault, and a lady with a hole in her neck. Please let me know what you think of this episode! 001: Like a Phoenix
Thanks for taking the plunge and listening to the show! I am going to take a moment and give a brief introduction. Really, if you are interested in weird, odd, and bizarre news stories with a generous helping of miscellaneous tidbits, News with Bill is the show for you! There is a good chance that I will throw some randomness in here and there as well. Here what you can expect to episode: Obviously, I had to kick off the new show with a story about poop. There is a circus in Germany that is selling jars of the brown gold to unsuspecting people… well, I guess they are suspecting because these people are ordering the stuff on purpose. Of course then we have a couple of real gems – a guy that claimed he was using the two dozen pipe bombs he was caught with to remove tree stumps, and the Nazi that shot a woman several times in the back that stole a flag in his front yard. Odd, I know. Since when do Nazis overreact about things? There are truly some odd magazines out there that you can actually subscribe to, and they cover a wide range of subjects – animals, corpses, industrial equipment, end even porta potties! I found details about a railroad selling rocks make money, and read about a couple of guys that got into a violent argument over a video game. And what is the best way to close out the episode? A kid shoving a Lego up his nose, only to have it come out a couple of years later. Please let me know what you think of this episode!
