[…] What's it going to take? Well, yes, we are going to need legislation. And Renewal Northwest has tried many times to make amendments to Oregon's SB 100. We have failed over and over again. But I think this upcoming session, we have a pretty good chance of making some meaningful change. And part of it was The governor of Oregon issued Executive Order 2529, which directed state agencies to look at their processes and the role their agency plays in some of the slow permitting of projects. And the two agencies in the state of Oregon, the Department of Lands and Conservation Department and the Oregon Department of Energy, have put out initial reports. […]
