Integrating Functional Neurology into Ortho and Sports PT with Dr. Ryan Foley
<p>In school, we are taught how to treat the traditional "neuro" patients but not necessarily how to apply neurology in a meaningful manner to orthopedic and sports populations: everyone has a nervous system. My guest for this episode looks to address this discrepancy. In this episode, I am joined by special guest, Dr. Ryan Foley, DPT, MISCP. Ryan is a physiotherapist currently practicing out of Waterford, Ireland at his very own cash-based clinic, Evolve Physiotherapy and Wellness. He is also co-founder of the continuing education platform, Integrated Kinetic Neurology (IKN) where he teaches how to utilize and leverage neurologic principles and mechanisms to help patients move and perform better, with the ultimate goal of developing more robust people.
