Making Sales Feel More Natural with Mia Butler

In this episode, I’m joined by sales expert Mia Butler to talk about how to make sales feel more natural, more human and more effective. I always enjoy talking to Mia because I love the way she approaches business - practical, human and without making things more complicated than they need to be. We explore why so many business owners overthink sales, how to approach conversations without becoming too focused on the outcome and why consistent follow-up matters more than most people realise. Mia also shares practical advice on creating clear next steps, following up without feeling pushy and building simple sales activity into your week. More about Mia: Mia Butler is a Sales Coach, Mentor, Trainer, and Speaker who helps business owners who are amazing at what they do build a solid sales plan, feel proud and confident selling themselves, and finally take control of their income. Mia works with corporate sales teams every week, training hotels, venues, hospitality groups, and national brands to hit serious commercial targets. That real-world perspective is her superpower. She brings the same high-performance thinking, structure, and sales psychology to business owners who want clear plans, confident conversations, and consistent income. With a background leading corporate teams to smash 8-figure targets, Mia knows what makes buyers take action. She helps business owners take control of their sales, stop overthinking, and work with a simple structure that delivers results. Whether their goal is £2k months or £10k+ months, she teaches them how to sell in a way that feels honest, friendly, and dead normal. Mia is known for her real-talk approach and no-messing training style. She believes sales should feel natural, confident and human. Helping, not hassling. Trust drives everything. Her work gives people the habits, conversations, and determination to follow up that make selling feel easier and top of your priority list. No one teaches sales like Mia. There’s no pressure, no scripts, no awkward tactics... but plenty of ideas you can use! She teaches people to show up in a way buyers trust. Sales becomes easier when people feel safe, clear on the offer, and confident they’re choosing the right person. You stop chasing. You start leading. Buying becomes simple. The AI Risks Most Business Owners Aren’t Thinking About

AI is already part of our businesses, whether we actively use tools such as ChatGPT or not. But how much do we really understand about how to use AI safely, responsibly and ethically? In this episode, I’m joined by AI Strategist Hali Jafari to explore some of the biggest myths around AI and what business owners need to start thinking about now. We discuss AI literacy, responsible and ethical AI use, data and intellectual property, whether paying for ChatGPT automatically makes your information safe. Hali also explains why AI cannot actually “think”, why businesses should remain tool agnostic and why understanding how and why you are using AI matters far more than jumping onto every new platform. We also look at some practical steps you can take now to review your own AI use, including checking your settings, memory, data and how AI is being used by members of your team. AI is developing quickly, but this conversation isn’t about being frightened of it or blindly embracing it. It’s about understanding it well enough to make informed decisions about where AI belongs in your business and where it doesn’t. More about Hali: Hali Jafari is the founder of ETHIQ AI. She helps founders, CEOs, and business owners get AI literate, build AI into their businesses responsibly, through practical policies, governance frameworks, and hands-on training. Based in Bristol, UK, Hali's mission is straightforward: make ethical AI implementation something founders can actually understand and do, not just something they worry about. Through ETHIQ AI's courses and consultancy, she's turned "we should probably have an AI policy" into systems people genuinely use and understand.
