<p>Carol Tolman, co-founder of Lexia LETRS, 3rd edition, and Curriculum Specialist Heidi Zollman speak to us about a groundbreaking new professional organization for our state, The Reading League New Hampshire. We also discuss the positive effects that LETRS has had in NH and across the world. <br></p> <p><strong>ABOUT</strong></p> <p>Dr. Carol Tolman has been a literacy consultant for over 15 years after serving as a classroom and special education teacher for over 25 years. In addition to authoring several publications, Carol is best known as the co-author of Lexia’s LTRS with Dr. Louisa Moats. </p> <p><br></p> <p>Heidi Zollmann is the elementary curriculum specialist in the Rochester, NH, School District. Irv Richardson: NHASCD's 2024 EDies winner
<p>If there were a Mount Rushmore of NH educators, Irv Richardson would certainly be there. On the podcast, you'll hear of Irv's illustrious career in education and his impact on thousands of students and educators. He is also the recipient of the 2024 NHASCD Educational Leadership Award as part of the NH Excellence in Education Awards…the EDies.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT</strong></p> <p>Dr. Irv Richardson is likely best known as the Coordinator for Public Education and School Support for NEA-NH. He is also on the doctoral program faculty at Southern NH University and helped grow Staff Development for Educators (SDE) with the late Jim Grant. Irv was Maine’s teacher of the year in 1988 and on the team that wrote the National INTASC teaching standards.
