Ep 168 - SUPERMAN & FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS - SPECIAL EPISODE

You didn't think we'd let a new Superman movie pass through without a debrief from Nic, Tys and Videotape! THIS WEEK we're having a special catch up to discuss the new iteration of our favourite boy in blue, as well as an extended chat about the fifth (and first sucessful?) attempt at bringing the Fantastic Four to the big screen. We also try and sum up 3 years off the air with a rundown of Marvel Phase four and five, as well as a special shortened OSCAR EXTRAVAGANZA discussing some of our favourite nominations of the past few years. All up, it's big ol' three hours full of our usual nonsense! Ep 167 - REUNION SPECIAL!

We've been gone for so long, we just couldn't keep our unqualified opinions to ourselves any longer here at Nic, Tys and Videotape! THIS WEEK we're attempting to cover over a years worth of movie nonsense, including a shortened OSCAR EXTRAVAGANZA (nothing much happened there, right?), a series of QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE that covers some of the hottest movie takes of 2021, and we finally turn the grill toward ourselves, as both Nic and Tys face the gauntlet that is GRILLIN' THE GUEST. All up, it's big ol' nearly three hour REUNION SPECIAL! While this may just be a special one-off episode, we'd still love to hear from our fans, especially if you would like to let us know how excited you are by some fresh Nic and Tys. Ep166 - THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (1993) - NT&V Christmas Special 2020

LISTEN ON RADIO PUBLIC!! https://radiopublic.com/nic-tys-and-videotape-a-movie-pod-WaV5PM How horrible JOLLY our Christmas will be here at Nic, Tys and Videotape! With the world in various levels of lockdown, what better way to pass the time than talking about movies... the GREATEST movies. So for the foreseeable future, we're going all killer, no filler. We'll be talking nothing but the absolute classics of cinema, because we all need some positivity in our ears right now. So with that in mind, THIS WEEK to celebrate the fact that we made it Christmas, we're chatting about the Tim Burton movie that wasn't actually directed by Tim Burton, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS! PLUS, in the return of Talkin' Trailers, we look at a possible John Wick extended universe, and in What Did You Watch This Week?, Tys goes on a Star Wars kick while Nic beings us up to speed on the forgotten DC release from earlier this year. As always, here are the ways to get in touch with us if you would like to suggest a film for us to talk about, a different topic you would like us to rank, or to ask a question to be featured in our MAILBAG segment: Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/nictysvideotape Twitter - https://twitter.com/nictysvideotape Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nic_tys_and_videotape/ Email - nictysandvideotape@gmail.com and don't forget to RATE/REVIEW us on Apple Podcasts so we can get the word out and keep building this ace community of movie lovers all over the world!!! https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/nic-tys-and-videotape-a-movie-podcast/id1204292008 You can also subscribe to Nic, Tys and Videotape on YouTube by visiting the following link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaus3hn3D8WfTxeOC_07zZA NOW UPDATED WEEKLY!
