Der ORF ist nicht unschuldig. Aber für die FPÖ geht es nicht nur um Kritik am ORF. Sie braucht ihn als Feind. Berechtigte Kritik am ORF endet aber dort, wo aus Reform ein Angriff auf die Unabhängigkeit des öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunks wird. Herbert Kickl erzählt vom „Systemmedium“. Peter Westenthaler attackiert im Stiftungsrat. Unter dem Schlagwort „Grundfunk“ steht ein ORF im Raum, der nicht unabhängiger, sondern kleiner, schwächer und politisch leichter beherrschbar wäre. Von der BBC bis zur Rai, von ARD und ZDF bis zum ORF: Rechtspopulistische Parteien attackieren öffentlich-rechtliche Medien als angebliche Sprachrohre der Elite.
