<p>Vita Zwaan is advocaat en hoofd van het privacyteam bij advocatenkantoor Bureau Brandeis. Ze is gespecialiseerd in databescherming, online aansprakelijkheid en telecommunicatiewetgeving. In deze aflevering hebben het over deepnudes: met kunstmatige intelligentie bewerkte pornografische video's.</p> <p>In 2019 telde het Amsterdamse bedrijf Sensity (voorheen: Deeptrace) het aantal online deepfakes. Van de bijna 15.000 gevonden deepfakes was 96 procent pornografisch. Is nieuwe wetgeving nodig om daarmee om te gaan? In deze aflevering spreek ik hierover met Vita Zwaan.</p>

<p>Stefan Kulk is jurist en hoofddocent aan Universiteit Utrecht. Hij is gespecialiseerd in online aansprakelijkheid, intellectueel eigendomsrecht en privacy. In dit gesprek hebben het over hoeveel bescherming de wet nu tegen deepfakes biedt.</p> <p>Deepfakes zijn met kunstmatige intelligentie bewerkte video's. Het is mogelijk computers de kenmerken van je gezicht te leren en video's aan te passen zodat het lijkt alsof je iets doet wat je niet hebt gedaan. Zulke deepfakes kunnen satirisch, pornografisch of nepnieuws zijn. Je bent het in ieder geval niet, maar je herkent jezelf. Hoeveel beschermt de wet jou op dat moment? Is nieuwe wetgeving nodig? </p>
