सुख भविष्य के बहुत नजदीक नहीं होता। दुख का वर्तमान इतना लंबा, नुकीला होता है कि भविष्य में उसकी नोक घुसी होती है। सुख थोड़ा लचीला होता है। इतना लचीला कि 5 मिनट के सुख को खींच-खींच कर किसी तरह 11 मिनट तक ले आए। बारहवें मिनट में सुख के टूट जाने का डर होता है।

इस वक़्त बारिश हो रही है, बादल कुलबुला रहे हैं, हवा में खुनकी उड़ रही है, मेरा गतिरोध जारी है। एकान्तवास में पड़ा 'तड़पता' रहता हूँ लेकिन बाहर जाने का मन नहीं होता। कहीं मैं कामू के उस किरदार की तरह तो नहीं हो गया जो एक वाक्य से आगे नहीं बढ़ पाता- 'प्लेग' में?

maybe it's trauma response. we find it hard to seek help even though we badly want emotional needs. we tend to be silent to be able to maintain peace. we don't show our weakness to others. we almost keep everything to ourselves because we're scared that no one would understand 🌻

But language always falls short of the body when it comes to the intensity of corporeal experience.
