No Fall Zone Season 2, Episode 8 - Travis Rice
For the last episode of this season of the No Fall Zone podcast, we are honored to feature Travis Rice, an icon in snowboarding, filmmaking, and innovation in action sports. Travis has carved out a legacy as one of the greatest snowboarders of all time, with groundbreaking achievements both on and off the slopes.
In this episode, Travis takes us through his incredible career, from his early days as an 18-year-old phenom at the 2001 Snowboarder Magazine's Superpark competition to his iconic roles in redefining the sport. Highlights include his game-changing victories at the X Games and Arctic Challenge and his revolutionary Natural Selection events, where he brought freestyle to backcountry snowboarding. He also reflects on his 2019 Freeride World Tour debut in Hakuba, where he won the event as a wildcard, executing one of the most technical runs in the Tour's history.
