Noah's Arc is more me. Usually I talk about what's going on in the world but lately I just want to express it rather than ruminate and talk.
So the purpose of this counterpart is to share behind the scenes of my Young Adult Musings work. I'm intentional with everything and it'd help your imagination if I describe what's going on.
(This podcast is formerly known as ThisLifeSh_tCrazy). "Life is crazy enough as it is. I don't need it as my moniker/brand."
I got laid off in March and there's been a whole lot going on in the world. In episode 7 of Noah's Arc I update you on what I've been up to since then and how my shows are changing. Essentially, I wish to express how I feel creatively more rather than talk about it. Talking overwhelms me sometimes and makes me feel useless. My segments and deeper conversations are on hold for now, I'm focusing on the creative work. That's why I dissect my 3 episodes for my series Frosted Glass; my latest series for the Young Adult Musings podcast where I explore my worries of the world and fictionalize them into worst case scenarios if we don't act.

Scrambled Eggs
In episode 6 of Noah's Arc my thoughts were kinda all over the place, some may say scrambled. First I tell you why dog friendly beaches grind my gears. Then why the notion of “paying your dues” fires me tf up. We segue to talking about conversations that are vs aren’t happening on LinkedIn; then end off sharing how I’m sure this is the beginning of the end for my current job.

Hot Honey
Episode 5 of Noah's Arc is aptly named “Hot Honey” cause that’s how it feels. At first I come at you with some heat- not at you, you’re not the problem, but some things do “fire” me up and “grind my gears.” Afterwards though, is a treat, some honey. I deconstruct what I have so far for Season 2 of the Young Adult Musings podcast. Behind the scenes and directors commentary of the episodes; your favorite.

First I’m Sour, Then I’m Sweet
Episode 4 of Noah’s Arc starts a lil sour. Elon Musk fires me up (pause), I get existential about the origins of greed, and living in the ai revolution. But then it’s sweet, gather round for directors commentary of Young Adult Musings season 1. Learn what feelings/circumstances provoked creation and the vision behind them.

Whole Lotta Bullsh*t
Upon thinking of the title for episode 3, it dawned on me what I talk about: A whole lotta bullshit happening in life. Work continues to piss me off, or… fire me up wink. The nature of social media grinds my gears; and lemme tell you why I think we can’t win in this job market.

Imma Be Real Witchu
In episode 2 of Noah's Arc we get real. I dive into: my frustration at my job, fear for my future, the state of the world, and deconstruct “Inner Work Pt. 1” (available on the Young Adult Musings podcast).

A Rebrand?? Yes, A Rebrand
Welcome to the first episode of Noah's Arc. Sayonara ThisLifeSh_tCrazy (former podcast name), it was fun but on to new beginnings.
In this episode I explain what has changed for the podcast and why, share some behind the scenes thoughts of my latest audio drama series episode, Indomitable - Don't Fuck Around (featured on Young Adult Musings); and talk about the newest YAM episode out "Inner Work Pt.1" and the insight it provided in the writing process.
If the visual is not available on Spotify (cause I've never uploaded a video before) then coming soon on YouTube, sorry!

(Reuploaded from former podcast ThisLifeSh_tCrazy)
I'm still alive, I promise! I know the last time I suddenly left I was gone gone but trust me, I'm here to stay. I've gone through some changes, work changes in particular that suck but are dope at the same time. We're moving forward bit by bit in this life shit and trust, there ain't no way I'm dropping podcasting!

Reflecting On My Nature
(Reuploaded from former podcast ThisLifeSh_tCrazy)
WHAT IT DO, IT'S SEASON 2!
The only way to improve yourself is to reflect on your current and past behavior. Peep the patterns, the way you think, what you default to; if you're conscious you'll grow and that's what I try to be. Understanding the psychology helps you understand the why's. When you understand why's, it's easier to move forward. Hopefully my introspection inspires you, or you even feel some closure by relating to what I struggle with.

Presenting... Episode 10!/I'm Back!
(Reuploaded from former podcast ThisLifeSh_tCrazy)
I'm back! It's been a long minute, I know; but I needed to step away. I ain't better than ever but I'm doing better and feeling fired up to podcast again! In this episode we celebrate hitting episode 10 by talking about bullshit interviews and a wild experience "onboarding" at a company. I also update you on my life now. I also reveal a new podcast I've been working on: Young Adult Musings. It's an extension of ThisLifeSh_tCrazy. The content is short form and on the creative side showing intimate snapshots of the many facets of life. Tap in and look forward to content from both podcasts.

Don't Be So Cynical
(Reuploaded from former podcast ThisLifeSh_tCrazy)
This episode I let y'all in a lil. I had great momentum going with the uploads, what happened?? The job search man, it kicks your ass. The rejection, time wasting, waiting, disrespect, it gets you down. And when you're down it's hard being positive and uplifting, almost impossible. I don't like faking positivity anyways and I realized some wisdom in my situation: A few bad experiences can't shape you into a worse person. They didn't happen so you assume everyone will be or do the same. They happened so you can save yourself when you notice the pattern in the future. So lately I've gotten some wack recruiters, but I know there's one out there that'll be eager to help me find the healthy work environment I'm looking for.

Rehabilitate The Ignorant
(Reuploaded from former podcast ThisLifeSh_tCrazy)
It's been awhile, I know. But I'm not dead nor gone! Just needed a little break. This episode I address how we as a society contribute to our own division. We don't come together as a unit and address societal issues, we spend all our time hating the wrong people or placing our anger in the wrong places. It's always two sides fighting while they want the same problem solved, its ridiculous. The thing is. this division is fabricated. It's a calculated effort so we get nothing done and so far its working. I haven't and I won't lose hope though and neither should you. People are either victims of misinformation or ignorance and it's on us to bring them back. We need to rehabilitate the ignorant if we want positive change!

Embrace The Lows!!
(Reuploaded from former podcast ThisLifeSh_tCrazy)
As a young adult there's a lot of shit we can't make sense of. We simply lack experience and wisdom that is acquired naturally over time. There's 1 lesson I've learned that stays consistent throughout life though: it gets worse before it gets better. The human experience is all about conflict. We're the main characters of our lives, our story. Life wouldn't be fulfilling if everything was handed to us or worked out. So this episode I say Embrace The Lows!! But why? Don't you ever notice how much better life gets after overcoming your lowest points?

The Past Sucked, I'm Thankful For That
(Reuploaded from former podcast ThisLifeSh_tCrazy)
I celebrated 2 years and 6 months with my girlfriend a few days ago and it got me reflecting about the past. When lockdown happened things went from "who's sleeping at who's" to "I can't wait to see you again." It absolutely sucked having my relationship swiped out from under me; but if things happened differently, I wouldn't have the relationship I have today. So yea, the past sucked but I'm thankful for it.

Silly Vibes & Reassurance
(Reuploaded from former podcast ThisLifeSh_tCrazy)
We're back to going solo for episode 5! Half way to 10! Can't wait to get in the double digits. I hope you don't mind being uplifted, I needed to share some reassuring words this time around. For those that feel lonely, and those pivoting/navigating their careers. I've been in both places and want to reiterate: you are not alone. I talk through some questions you can ask yourself to help you find your way. Eventually this episode closes out with a personality assessment I took for a job. No spoilers but the questions get kinda odd...

Started From The Bottom, Now She Here
(Reuploaded from former podcast ThisLifeSh_tCrazy)
While I'm still hunting for a job my mom is in PARADISE, or as close to what you can get for a job in America. Seriously though, the appreciation her job has for her should be the norm! But unfortunately it's not. Like us she's navigated through some workplaces with horrible leadership. Ever have your boss throw you under the bus for THEIR negligence? Has your superior ever belittled an employee? Cursed at them? Yelled at them? She's been there. It hurts to know this is someone's 9-5 all days of the year, but I hope with this episode you feel heard; And while it may not seem like it now, the opportunity you deserve is out there waiting to greet you with open arms.

Workplace Woes & Revamped Resumes
(Reuploaded from former podcast ThisLifeSh_tCrazy)
Memories are powerful for me. They bring me back to whatever moment(s) I remember and I feel the emotions (especially frustrations) all over again. I reflect on the inefficiencies of my previous workplace and a HORRIBLE interviewer. Afterwards, we get your resume right and you interview ready; you're getting that job you want baby!
