As two uni students ourselves with different carrier paths in mind, we discuss the topic and answer the question "is a university degree essential if you want to be successful?" (however you may define that).</p>

Happiness isn't Haribo's
<p>Just our ideas on why people aren't happy and what they can do to make themselves happy. </p> <p>Its not about trying to impress others, or about the money, or about flexing with all your material things to try and impress people you don't even like. It seems that people convince themselves they're happy when they do/have these things. Real happiness... real peace and joy comes from within yourself before it comes from anywhere else. You can't rely on people or "things" to make you happy, because they wont always be there. </p> <p>Once your happiness comes from you, then you start winning.</p> <p>Suddenly you stop caring about others peoples opinions and stop trying to impress them and start doing more things for yourself... learning what you're actually interested in, learning more about yourself as a person, and really becoming the person you want to be. That's the most important step to becoming happy... being you. </p> <p>Then you start to make you life your own- living the life you really want to live, not the life you're parents want you to live, so they can brag to their friends about how successful their kid is doing, or the 9-5 life that promises you financial stability, but draining you in the process, forcing you to count down the days till the weekend. </p> <p>Sometimes its hard to tell because living lives like these have become so normal. It really is important to ask yourself am I happy with where my life is going? or where my life had gone? Because a time will come when it's too late to make it want you wanted it to be. </p> <p>Don't waste it, make it yours, you only get one.</p> <p>Life is a journey with no destination, it's the process you have to enjoy.</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p>
