Brian from Velocity Recording Studio is back, and apparently being an audio engineer means people expect you to perform miracles on recordings that barely qualify as sound. We talk sketchy client requests, audio nobody should have agreed to fix, diss tracks that sound suspiciously like evidence, and Brian’s promising future as the Audio Ranger.
Then we somehow end up discussing zombie romance, physical media, video game soundtracks, and construction equipment. A backhoe gets called a spoon. This was originally a conversation about audio.
There’s also some actual sincerity in here about fatherhood, Brian’s grandfather’s musical advice, and the moments that remind you why you make things in the first place.
