Kentucky Roots, Navy Tales & Snack Box News

Allen and Joey are back, “micro-dosing” you with another dose of pure nonsense as they wrap up October and look ahead to what’s coming next on the show. This week is a hangout episode in the best way: no taste test yet—just stories, memories, and a whole lot of tangents. Allen teases an upcoming Universal Yums-style snack series (including a mystery box from Denmark and the long-promised special Doritos from Isaac), then the conversation drifts into Halloween season, haunted houses, and old-school meet-and-greets with their buddy Big Fat. From there, the guys take a nostalgic road trip back to Lafette/Lafayette, Kentucky, talking about their childhood crew, DJ days at the roller dome, and the real history of Marquis de Lafayette and how half of America ended up named after him. Naturally, it doesn’t stop there. They bounce through: Nate Bargatze’s “one fell swoop” bit and Nashville comedy Good Will Hunting and the Robin Williams “had to go see about a girl” scene Phil Collins, Genesis, urban legends around “In the Air Tonight,” and the Drummer First documentary 80s/90s TV nostalgia: Miami Vice, Magnum P.I., Hawaii Five-O, True Lies, Spy Kids, CatDog, Road Runner, old-school WB cartoons Rock and country radio memories: KDF, KISS, Guns N’ Roses, classic vs. pop country Tron, Nine Inch Nails, and what it looks like when the “game world” comes into real life Disney World traditions, empty-nest vacations, and why flip-flops are a terrible idea at crowded urinals It’s classic Nonsensical Talk: two longtime friends from small-town Kentucky/Tennessee spinning stories, chasing memories, and somehow connecting Lafayette, Disney World, Phil Collins, and WKRP’s turkey drop in one episode. Hit play, laugh along, and get ready—next episode, the international snack chaos begins.
