兄が家に来て夜ごはんに生姜焼きを作ってくれた。
My brother came my home and cooked "syoga-yaki" for dinner.
what I thought
兄は飲食店でバイトしているので、料理が上手でおいしかった。二人で一緒にご飯を食べたので楽しかった。夜遅くまで家にいて皿洗いもしてくれて、本当に家族思いなんだと知った。
He works part-time at a restaurant, so his food was good and delicious. It was fun because we ate dinner together. He stayed at home until late at night and washed the dishes, so I think he is really family-oriented.
what I learned
佐賀県の他の地域では成人式が行われていたところがある。
The coming of age ceremonies were held in other areas of Saga.

yesterday's event
弟と父とボーリングをした。３ゲームして弟に一回負けた。
I went bowling with my brother and father. We played 3 games and lost to my brother once.
what I thought
久しぶりにボーリングに行けたので楽しかった。弟の方が靴が大きく、投げる球も同じだったので、弟の成長を感じた。２ゲームで終わるはずだったが、早く終わったので３ゲーム目もした。家族と過ごす時間は幸せだ。
It was fun because I go bowling for the first time in a long time. My brother's shoes were bigger than mine, and we use a same size bowling ball, so I felt my brother's growth . It was supposed to end in 2 games, but since games ended early, we also played the third game. I was happy to spend time with my family.

母と祖母はボーリングが上手だと知った。
I learned that my mother and grandmother are good at bowling.

お金に関する本と図書カードを本屋で買った。
At a book store, I bought a book about money and a gift card for a book store.
what I thought
お金の本は、２０歳になるからお金の勉強をしようと思って買った。今読んでいる本が読み終わったら、早く読みたい。図書カードは弟にあげるお年玉として買った。今回初めてあげるので、喜んでくれるか楽しみ。
I bought a book about money because I will turn 20 soon so I want to study money. When I finish reading the book I'm reading, I want to read it as soon as possible. I bought a gift card as a New Year's gift for my brother. It is the first time for me to give it, so I am looking forward to my brother's reaction.

yesterday's event
夜、友達３人と久しぶりに電話をした。
At night, I called with three friends for the first time in a long time.
how I thought
11時から始めて、1時まで2時間も時間を忘れるくらい話した。皆いい意味であまり変わっていなかった。高校の時のノリで話せるのでとても楽で楽しかった。成人式の後と春休みに遊ぶ計画を立てたのでとても楽しみ。
We started talking at 11 p.m. and talked for 2 hours until 1 a.m. for 2 hours, it was over before I knew it. Everyone didn't change much in a good way. It was so relaxed and fun because I could talk with them like when we were at high school. We made a plan to play after the seijin ceremony and during spring vacation, so I'm looking forward to it.
what I learned

I learned that I need to open a bunk account to make a debit card.

在アメリカ領事館の人とアメリカ留学について話した。
I talked with a person from the U.S Consulate about studying in the United States.
どう思ったか
How I thought about it
元々アメリカに行きたいと思っていたが、より行きたいと思うようになった。最近アメリカに行く日本人が少なく、さらに理系の需要が高まっているので、自分には最適だと思った。しかし私は来年ヨーロッパに留学する予定なので、アメリカ留学はそのあとになりそうだ。
Originally, I wanted to go to the U.S., but now I want to go more. Recently, few Japanese go to the U.S., and the demand for science is increasing, so I thought it was the best for me. However, I plan to study in Europe next year, so studying in the U.S. is likely to come after that.
学んだこと
キャッシュレスが現金よりお得だと知った。デビットカードについて調べている。
I learned that cashless is better than cash. I am searching debit cards.
今日の目標
キャッシュレスについてより深く調べ理解する。
I hope to search cashless deeply and understand well.

友達と天神に行った
I went to Tenjin with my friend.
どう思ったか
how I thought
天神に行くのはとても久しぶりで、最近はもう行かなくてもよいと思っていたが、行ってみるといいことばかりだった。人が多く、ものも多く、イベントもたくさんあっていた。実際に何個か参加してみてとても良いものだった。今後も行く機会を定期的に作ろうと思う。
It was the first time for a long time to go to Tenjin. I thought I didn't have to go anymore these days, but it was all good to go. There were many people, many things and many events. It was so good to actually participate in some of them. I plan to make an opportunity to go regularly.

In Japan, it's sunny.
The high is 11degrees, the low is 1degree.
December 24th diary
I got up at 6:30 am.
In the test at first period, I noticed a mistake at the end, but it was too late.
For lunch, I ate a roast beef at the school cafeteria, it was special menu of Christmas and so delicious.
Yesterday was a Christmas Eve, so I bought a roll cake.
After going home, I finished assignments and after that I ate a dinner.
After dinner, I called my father a little.
At night, I read a book and went to bed before 12 pm.
