<p>大哥是 1988 年高考状元，gap 了 两年，1994 年政策放开第一时间远赴美国，今年正好是三十周年。</p><p>这一期是一个本来不那么 normal 却立志于成为 normal person 的不够标准的 normal talk。</p><p>因为远程录制，每次都会出点录音问题。还有朋友反馈，剪辑技术有待加强。这一期呢，是我的录音音轨没录上，导致剪辑有点艰难。所以很多力气都用在对音轨的缝缝补补上，直到剪完再次听，发现这大哥这两期还是很牛逼的。</p><p>虽然播客的名称是「normal talk」，但事实上我们的对话都不够 normal。在这两期，关于大哥必须要背井离乡的原因与核心动机，我们都剪掉了。有一些是因为不可抗力的不得不，有一些是委曲求全的主动删。我们都期待，有那么一天，我们也可以重新评价已经发生的所有事，我们再来谈宁愿漂泊如浮萍的背后每一个人的伤心事。</p><p>同时，我再听的时候也发现，那些勇于亲述自己人生故事的人，把每件事都轻描淡写说出来的人，都是勇敢的。聊到母亲去世的那段，大哥依然是几乎没有表情的，我几乎无法捕捉任何一次「热泪盈眶」，但声音文本不会骗人，你听的话，也会听到一些缱绻柔情。</p><p>最初想本集标题的时候，我其实想用「客从何处来」，后来想用「有朋自远方来」，但最后还是用了「过往人生」。</p><p>在本集，你将听到：</p><ul> <li>90 年代的留学风潮与当下之对比。</li> <li>初到美国的见闻与文化震撼。</li> <li>90 年代的美国互联网文化。</li> <li>亲历震惊中外的「朱令」铊中毒事件。</li> <li>不同代际的中国留学生。</li> <li>移民如何处理还在家乡的亲情。</li> <li>母亲去世之后，回到美国，「妈妈可能回来找我了」的故事。</li></ul>
