One Short Term Rental in the county has refused to come under compliance with the fire code for up to 15 years and still asking for for the Commission to grant them variances. That is just the tip of the iceberg in the tales of Hall County

Both the commissioners and the board of education submitted budgets and proposals. BOE is crying broke and going to raise property taxes. Also a couple of contentious land developments. One in Sardis and One in North Hall at Highland Road. WE had one commissioner get testy at the latest board meeting and chirp back with citizens. Been a lot going on and we get to the bottom of it. The hosts truly have different takes on a lot of this.

In this episode, Podcast 26, Chris Dyer and Viral Chhadua go over things that have happened in Hall County Primary Runoff Election on June 16, 2026. Locally we had two Hall County Commission Seats and an At-Large Board of Education Seat up for grabs. Plus we had some possible illegal fireworks going on from a couple of members of the Board of Tax Assessors. They tried to affect the outcome of the District 3 race and it got quite dicey for a while. We also get into the Hall County Commissions purchase of a lot for the courthouse and the underhanded dealings that went on there.. This is a must watch episode.
