Kimi Antonelli wint weer, maar de strijd met teamgenoot George Russell was pittig. Zijn twee gelijkwaardige teamgenoten nou een vloek of een zegen? En Max Verstappen was iets meer in zijn hum. “Hij klonk een beetje Nürburgring”, aldus Jeroen Bleekemolen, die samen met Afke Boven, Louis Dekker en Emel Cankaya (van 2019 tot 2025 in dienst bij McLaren) het afgelopen Formule 1-weekend besprak.

Daar zijn we weer, met een kakelverse Formule 1-podcast. Of moeten we zeggen, lange-afstandsrace-podcast. Want in deze aflevering heel veel aandacht voor het uitstapje dat Max Verstappen maakte op de Nürburgring in Duitsland. Verstappen reed voor het eerst een 24-uursrace en maakte veel indruk, maar door technische problemen won Verstappen niet. Jeroen Bleekemolen deed dat in de SP10-klasse wel en is natuurlijk weer aangeschoven in de studio. Coureur Duncan Huisman is er bij, hij reed ook in Duitsland. Martin Vriesema praat ook gezellig mee en uiteraard is ook Louis Dekker van de partij.

Max Verstappen lacht weer een beetje, Kimi Antonelli siert de voorpagina's in Italië en zorgen voor George Russell. Het Formule 1-seizoen is weer hervat, met de GP van Miami. Op die tumultueze race blikken we terug en ook hebben we aandacht voor het overlijden van Alex Zanardi. Louis Dekker, Jeroen Bleekemolen en Ernest Knoors zijn dit keer te gast.
