   Don't Be A Second Option

You should never have to convince someone of your value! But here's a question we don't always ask ourselves: How can we be upset about being someone's second option when we continuously make God ours? Whew!!! Now that's a conversation worth having! In this episode of the Not As Glamorous Podcast, we're talking about knowing your worth, recognizing what God has placed inside of you, and learning to stop seeking validation from people who may never recognize your value! Sometimes we spend so much energy trying to be chosen, appreciated, or accepted that we forget our worth was never dependent on someone else's opinion in the first place. Rejection may hurt, but it doesn't have to redefine who you are. And just because someone finally recognizes your value doesn't automatically mean they deserve access to the person you've become. But this conversation goes deeper than relationships with other people. We're also taking an honest look at our relationship with God. We want consistency, communication, effort, and priority from others, but are we offering God that same intentionality? Are we seeking Him first, or only turning to Him when everything else fails? This episode is a reminder that you don't have to beg to be chosen, and you shouldn't make God your last resort! Put God first! Know your worth! And go where your presence is appreciated, not where you have to prove that it should be!🤍 🌿 Stay Connected Beyond the Mic If today's episode spoke to you, I'd love for you to stay connected beyond the mic. Girl Enjoy the Now

What if becoming the woman you’re praying to be didn’t require you to rush through the woman you are right now? September to Remember started as a personal challenge to live more intentionally. To be present in my own life instead of constantly looking ahead to the next goal, milestone, or version of myself. And somewhere along the way, it became a much bigger reminder: you can be becoming her while still loving and enjoying her right now. In this episode, we’re talking about what it looks like to build a life that feels aligned from the inside out. Staying connected to God, practicing the habits of the woman you’re becoming, caring for your body, giving yourself permission to change, and making room for JOY while you grow. You don't have to wait until you've arrived to start living. You don't have to hate where you are to be excited about where you're going. And you certainly don't need a new year, new month, or dramatic life event to decide that something changes today. Enjoy the now. Love God now. Take care of yourself now. Laugh now. Rest now. Start the dream now. You're becoming her — just don't forget to love her right now, too. 🤍✨ 🌿 Stay Connected Beyond the Mic If today’s episode spoke to you, I’d love for you to stay connected beyond the mic. You can explore more faith-filled blogs, reflections, and resources on the website, join our private Facebook community for deeper conversations and encouragement, and follow along on social media for daily reminders, motivation, and real-life glow-ups. And if you’re in a season where you’re ready for more clarity, confidence, deeper faith, and a life that feels aligned with the woman you’re becoming, you can also learn more about working with me through my coaching experiences. We can start with a complimentary discovery call to talk about where you are, where you want to go, and what areas of your life may need a little GLAM touch-up. 💕 If you ever want to chat, share a testimony, or just say hey, you can reach out via email — I truly love hearing from you. 💌 And if you enjoy seeing the conversation, be sure to check out the visual version of the podcast on YouTube. ✨ Website: https://notasglamorous.podia.com/ (https://notasglamorous.podia.com/) ✨ Private Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/notasglamorous (https://www.facebook.com/groups/notasglamorous) ✨ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/notasglamorous/ (https://www.instagram.com/notasglamorous/) ✨ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@glam0ur_girl (https://www.youtube.com/@glam0ur_girl) ✨ Email: NotAsGlamorous@gmail.com (mailto:NotAsGlamorous@gmail.com)

   Getting Back To The Basics

Getting Back to the Basics Sometimes the next level doesn’t require something new , it requires a stronger foundation. In this episode of the Not As Glamorous Podcast, we’re getting back to the basics. With school back in session and everyone settling into routines again, it’s the perfect reminder that sometimes we need a little review too. Before we keep chasing the next goal, opportunity, relationship, or version of ourselves, we have to ask: Is my foundation strong enough to hold what I’m asking God for? We’re talking about what it means to build your life on the Rock and why the storms of life often reveal cracks that were already there. A strong foundation doesn’t mean you’ll never experience disappointment, uncertainty, heartbreak, or change — it means those things don’t have the power to completely uproot you. And sometimes strengthening that foundation is a lot simpler than we make it. It may mean returning to prayer, Scripture, movement, rest, budgeting, boundaries, discipline, or simply keeping the promises you make to yourself. The basics may not always feel exciting, but they’re often the very things that keep us grounded. So instead of asking, “What else do I need to add?” maybe the better question is: What do I already know I need to return to? Going back to the basics isn’t going backward. Sometimes it’s exactly how God prepares you to build higher. 🌿 Stay Connected Beyond the Mic If today’s episode spoke to you, I’d love for you to stay connected beyond the mic.
