About Not Just Crew: Inspire - Encourage - Support!
Although ‘NotJustCrew’ didn’t set out with the intention of becoming a major support hub for cabin crew dealing with the effect of a collapsing aviation industry, we seem to have evolved that way.
We have now become the ‘go to place’ for crew from over 75 different nations, and 78 global airlines, with an average of 2k interactions daily on our social media.
Our shows are also converted to podcasts for iTunes, Spotify and other platforms, which reaches a 24h globally engaged audience as part of the role of cabin crew.
relax for some amazing crew stories!

Happy Birthday Molly my new found Niece because of the DNA process which is covered in this show. 14/10/24
Imagine reaching the age of 54 and knowing 100% that you only have mum & dad and one brother within your family.
Then your world is turned upside down when on a family holiday you are told you have a sister. This is a shock, but not entirly an unwelcome one, so you start to do a search with a DNA company.... and yes you do find your sister, but not the one you set out to find.
Our family were very lucky, we found each other, and all our family get on way better than any of our expectations, remembering how much a find such as this can change family dynamics such as having new cousins, nieces & nephews.

NJC Chat to Author & Artist Karen McLeod about her new book. 'Lifting Off'
NJC's Trevor Jenkins & Kaylie Kay Chat to Author & Artist Karen McLeod about her new book. 'Lifting Off'.
Welcome back to an another episode of Not Just Crew. Today I’ll be joining by author and NJC contributor Kaylie Kay as we chat to Karen McLeod about her new book 'Lifting Off'.
Karen has had some excellent reviews in the national media regarding her book, so Not Just Crew wanted to dip a little bit deeper about the book and her background as cabin crew for a long haul airline in the 1990s.
Karen tells us about her early years in the airlines and how it shaped her future self. This part of a review from the Scene Magazine written by: Eric Page eplaines:
'Karen is a flight attendant whose professional life is a symphony of sky-high adventures, gossip, BA protocols, drinking and in-flight escapades. But beneath the polished uniform and the endless sky lies a turbulent inner world where she grapples with the storm clouds of living a lie. This journey is one many in the LGBTQ community will find painfully relatable: the struggle to reconcile her true self with the expectations of those around her, all while maintaining the poise and grace demanded by her job'.
As an artist she has a character on a comedy circuit called Barbara Brown skirt. If you are free on the 29th of September, check out her show at the Ironworks Theatre in Brighton.
Please follow her on her socials, along with Kaylie Kay and of course Not Just Crew.
