One comic. One mic. One producer who won’t stay quiet.
This is a solo podcast about comedy, culture, and the weird position of trying to be a thinking person in a very stupid world. I break down what’s happening inside the comedy scene, what’s happening outside it, and where a working stand-up fits in the middle of all of it.
Expect honest takes on stand-up, cultural moments, internet drama, the business of comedy, and whatever else deserves to be roasted that week. Occasionally my off-camera producer jumps in to fact-check, argue, or make things worse.
If you like stand-up, behind-the-scenes comedy talk, and a comic trying to figure out where he belongs in the circus, this is for you.
New episodes weekly.
Our third guest episode! Comedian Ariel Elias (Colbert, Kimmel) joined us at Grove Studios to talk about the love of joke writing, how boring the Shane Gillis controversy is and a woman's time of the month. Scott is a noted feminist, so this ep really clocks the zeitgeist!

Why So Sirius?
In the echosphere of comedy, one name now rules them all: Sebastian! For our second ever guest episode, we sit down with Kevin McCaffrey (Letterman, TruTV) to talk about the ins and outs of radio play for comics, the future of media and how much whiskey we drink. It is a fun one! One comic. One mic. One producer who won’t stay quiet. This is a solo podcast about comedy, culture, and the weird position of trying to be a thinking person in a very stupid world. Complaints And Grievances
I have read your comments! And I agree: I do too much bullshit on here as well. On this ep, we talk about some of the things that make this show good and others that do not. Plus we talk the French Revolution and as always, money!
