Here’s what the “Not the looking for a Third Podcast” isn’t :- serious, fact filled, professional, cutting edge, probing, insightful or enlightening. It’s also un-sponsored, advertising and endorsement free (for now) there’s no extra content, clever concepts, it’s not well researched, fact checked or made by experts. It is however very silly, unserious, poorly researched, made up on the spot and a complete waste of your time... if you're a serious, important and humourless person, stop reading now!
A natural evolution from the original podcast from which it was birthed, "The Looking for a Third Podcast." Rodney Beckford and Tanya Chainey remain true to their comedic philosophy of pointless and silly conversation about everything and anything. Finding the funny in the everyday and pointing the mocking finger at the pompous, powerful and self--important.

A slightly longer episode than usual takes in Tanya's family holiday, the beauties of a gear stick, electric cars, and farting in the Arctic. There's somebody at the door but they don't talk about Rodney's one man show. Rodney names a dragon Bert and because Tanya is rubbish thinking on her feet, she names her dragon Bert to. Tanya also seriously cut's the cheese, explains slam ball, fails to name her top five books, and sings the Spider Pig theme tune. There are some excellent "teachable moments" and "movie quotes" and eventually the dumb dumbs, finally get around to saying good bye.

What Eat's A Platypus
Well they keep trying to go Donald T free and fail within the first 4 minutes, so the bar in this episode is really low. Dumb and dumber try to keep things light by skipping over the big issues in the news, (it’s all still rubbish) and instead talk about the hot weather spell in August. Hot summers as a kid, how Tanya kept cool, and had a Wendy house for a sauna. We find out about Tanya’s vacation plans, and how her and her cohort plan to terrorise the Alps and Provence. Someone’s one man show looms on the horizon, while someone else turns her nose up at the very idea of eating their placenta. Plus the question nobody ever asked goes un-answered… what eats a platypus?
This episode is the usual mix of eclectic nonsense, ridiculousness and is as daft as it always is, ( what do you expect from a two comedians and zero adult supervision), which is just the way we and we hope you like it.

Spoiler Alert
This week our sack-less plums talk about ice cream for the dying, a game changing rejuvenating cream for your vagina, (and if you were to guess who did the research on that one, you’d be wrong). Tanya’s no longer waiting for a call back, Rodney comes up with a couple of alternative TV formats to Celebrity Shark Infested Waters. The plot of the play, The Estate by Shaan Sahota is discussed but not spoiled, but only just.
There’s all the usual stuff like the Teachable Moments, Movie Quotes and a couple of rubbish jokes from Rodney. One of our hosts admits to being a terrible back seat driver. Also if you listen carefully to this episode you might notice that, “The Donald” never rears his head, and Tanya’s phone finally stays silent… it only took 8 episodes.

Humble Pie
In this episode the dim wits set out and fail very quickly to have a show without Donald Trump being mentioned in it. Tanya’s guts on more than a couple of occasions make themselves known, and her phone of course goes off. The pair both admit to shoplifting and Superman’s fundamental floor of being super is discussed. There’s some begrudging learning going on mostly from Rodney and Tanya tries to sound smart and knowledgeable, while passing off Google reading as her own knowledge.
There are better and more factual based podcast out there, just thought we ought to remind you. It goes without saying that this podcast is for the people like the storm troopers in Star Wars looking for droids. This podcast is puerile, witless and incredibly immature which we’re hopping is why you're listening to it. Just thought we should double check.

The Call Back
Bain and Yoda both make a brief cameo at the start of the show. Tanya is juiced up more than Lance Armstrong on a mountain stage, (doping control were notified, and blood samples were taken at the end of the episode). Rodney has a hot flash while talking about the Women’s Euro Football final. There’s a moment of silence for a couple of departed icons as well as the usual non-sense you’ve come to expect from these two numskulls.
Remember anything you learn from listening to the show should probably be fact checked, because they don’t.

Shakespeare sucks!
In this episode the plonkers talk about new money, how long it would take for them to get cancelled, keeping score in a relationship, Shakespeare, a comedy competition, sweets, plus the movie quotes makes a welcome return, and a new segment called "top five". Tanya's phone rings yet again and she tries to avoid the wealth tax. Also Michael Cain pops in for a visit. There's more than enough other nonsense to fill another half hour of audio listening.
As BA Baracus would say : "it's just silly, pointless jiba jaba between two crazy fools." However do remember nothing on this show has been researched, fact checked or confirmed as historic fact. That would require this pair to do some actual work and research. Should you learn anything do remember that's your fault for listening.

Guess who's done an English degree?
This week the MENSA rejects talk method acting, the recent heat wave in the UK, photography phobias, Rodney's one man show finds a venue, spam and the weird rotary meat on display in a in a kebab shop. You don't get this variety on "Off Menu" or "Smartless." It goes without saying Donald Trump rears his head as always, Tanya does a two for one deal with another "teachable moment" and by making a good point. She also has to take the dog to the vet, which definitely isn't a euphemism.
It's all delivered with wit ,charm and hilarity that is the comedy styling s that is "Not The Looking ForThird Podcast."

Private Parts
In this episode the twits talk about subjects as varied and wide ranging as the Euro Football Championships, rugby, narcissists, the price of tickets to see Barack Obama, Oasis and Duncan Goodhew. Not all at the same time by the way, Duncan hasn't become a member of a super group with Obama and Oasis. Either way the pair offer no solutions, only uninformed comment and baseless opinion, although Tanya will insist on a "Teachable Moment." She actually teaches Rodney something in this episode he doesn't know. No spoiler alerts it crow related.

The Price of Coffee
In this episode the duo discuss social media algorithms, Facebook advertising, ageing, Tanya's terrible waitress service, slugs, purple sprouting and so much more nonsense they go on for over half an hour. There are movie quotes, (Tanya's never seen Casablanca), a teachable moment, something definitely gets their goat and Rodney yet again fails to get the timer started on time or a decent coffee. Always pointless, a total waste of time and made by a pair of buffoons for people who like absolute silliness, humous conversation and sheer daftness. Oh... Liam Nesson "particular set of skills" gets the finger of fun pointed at him also.

Not The Looking for a Third Podcast
That’s right! you read it here first. They’re back! Tanya Chainey and Rodney Beckford are back as the hosts of yet another podcast, and this time they’re going straight for the funny bone... well they do both claim to be comedians after all. The not so dynamic duo have returned with a new show with a "NOT" so different name.
They’re aiming to be compact and bijou in this next series - not hard in Rodney’s matchbox office - as they share their thoughts on interesting goings on in the media, trivia and the real reason Tanya agreed to do this podcast.
This show is the pair doing what they naturally do, which includes putting the world to rights while being silly, humorous and pretty entertaining actually. Great thinkers they are not, so curb your expectations. These two are neither problem solvers or people your want in your corner in a jam, unless that jam is in a doughnut. This is "Not The Looking for a Third Podcast" and their third series together, so by now let's hope they're getting the hang of it. It should go without saying, you won’t learn anything if you listen, but if you do that's your fault for paying attention and we can't be sued!
