What if God isn't asking you to do more in this season but to receive?
In this episode of Notes App Faith, I'm talking about what it looks like to actually receive the season you're in: rest, joy, friendship, love, help, and even the hard things we can't carry on our own.
I've been learning that Sabbath is more than taking a day off. It's trusting that God can keep working even when I stop. I'm also wrestling with what it means to be the person others come to. The honor of carrying someone's story while also recognizing that carrying people can be heavy, and that healthy boundaries don't mean we love people any less.
We'll talk about growing up, changing friendships, all the weddings happening around me, learning to see people as God sees them, and why sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is simply remain.
Because maybe a fruitful season isn't always about producing more. Maybe it's about becoming more aware of God in the season you're already in. And maybe you don't have to earn what God is asking you to receive.
Most importantly, you don't always have to be doing something for God to be doing something in you.
