He is&nbsp;an award-winning writer and doctoral candidate with the Monash&nbsp;Climate Change Communication Research Hub, where he also works as a Teaching and Research&nbsp;Associate. His doctoral research focuses on narrative forms of climate change communication. James'&nbsp;fiction and arts journalism have been published widely. His&nbsp;co-authored book&nbsp;Science Fiction and Climate Change: A Sociological Approach was shortlisted for both the British Science Fiction Association&nbsp;awards and the Locus awards. His debut novel Children of Tomorrow, which was highly commended in the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards this year, will be published by Upswell Publishing in early 2023. Her work on taste-making and bookstagram is published in Post-Digital Book Cultures: Australian Perspectives (Monash University Press, 2021). When she’s not researching, you’ll find her singing, reading, and sipping coffee in a home surrounded by eucalypts. Listen in for a great chat about all things books, publishing and university!</p>
