You Are an Expression of the Universe — There Are No Mistakes Here

We practice to be better at life — not to perfect the practice itself. But sometimes we forget that.

Sometimes I think we forget that we are human, and we get so focused on our practices and trying to be more connected spiritually or better at our modality — as a practitioner, student or teacher — that we lose sight of the real reason we show up. You get to be a better human being. You get to become a better version of yourself in your day to day life. It doesn't mean you will always be regulated or that things won't bother you anymore, but you become better at taking a pause before you react.

You are worthy of that compassion. On the hard days especially — that is when you lean into your practice even more. The worst thing you can do is shelve it or believe it isn't working. Keep showing up. Try again. You are an expression of the universe, and there are no mistakes here.

If Reiki is just about being, shouldn't we just sit quietly and meditate?

Something I have been speaking about recently when it comes to Reiki is really understanding what the reason is for having different tools in our Reiki practice. Reiki is about returning to our truth, coming to that space of oneness, connection. Why do we need so many tools? Why do we need the precepts? Why do we have hand positions? Why are we taught symbols? If Reiki is just about being, shouldn't we just sit quietly and meditate?

The Journey of Always Learning ~ Teaching, Holding Space, and Growing

In this episode, we explore what it truly means to teach Reiki — how we want to hold space for our students and the legacy we aim to leave. We reflect on the importance of looking beyond our own practice and methods to learn from others, remembering that the journey of growth is ongoing. The more we learn, the more we continue learning, embracing the truth that there is no superior style or lineage of Reiki — only the shared path of being a lifelong student.
