英國《經濟學人》（The Economist）4月30日的封面故事聚焦台海局勢，封面照是一張雷達照，在台灣島的兩端分別有代表中國、美國的軍隊光點逼近，《經濟學人》形容「台灣是世界上最危險的地方」。 這集「NOW著地球聊」邀請美中關係專家趙君朔來為大家深入探討《經濟學人》為何認為台灣很危險？台灣目前的處境如何？以及對於一般大眾來說，看到國際對台海局勢的擔憂，該怎麼面對？ 衝突的戰鼓忽遠忽近，日本、澳洲官方都公開表達對台海和平的支持，處在風口浪尖上的台灣民眾該怎麼面對呢？趙君朔表示，雖然沒有人真的希望發生戰爭，但相信我國軍方都有在準備，而大家也不要妄自菲薄，台灣是個繁榮的民主國家，代表了好的普世價值。 趙君朔更以2019年香港反送中風波為例，當時香港許多年輕人都願意走上街頭抗爭，引起國際社會高度關注，相信只要願意站出來捍衛我們的土地，沒有人會漠視台灣！

EP06 印度天天確診破40萬！「大壺節」成第二波防疫破口
印度近期新型冠狀病毒（COVID-19）疫情急遽升溫，引起全世界關注。其實印度今年（2021）年初疫情一度趨緩，每日新增大約1萬例左右，其中大多為無症狀或是輕症患者，莫迪（Narendra Modi）政府信心喊話「已經擊敗了新冠病毒」，沒想到短短4個月的時間，印度已連續多日單日新增逾40萬例，醫院爆滿、火葬場24小時運轉，儼然已淪為「人間煉獄」。 印度第2波疫情期間，一名50歲婦人因為染疫在家中身亡，由於當地救護車已經無法播出時間，街坊鄰居也害怕病毒而不願出借汽車，最後只好由婦人的兒子、女婿，以「三貼」的方式騎摩托車前往火葬場。這樣的人倫悲劇現在幾乎天天在印度各地上演，凸顯出印度政府失能、醫療體系崩潰的窘境。
