[…] Well, last week I talked about the Amazon Prime Air accident that occurred when a 767 ran off the end of a runway in Miami at over 100 knots. We have some new information about that crash. On September 9th, the NTSB provided an update that included a summary, though not a full transcript, of the cockpit voice recorder, the CVR. At one minute and 42 seconds before the end of the recording, one pilot called for flaps 20 and the other pilot cautioned that they were too fast. The NTSB then says the pilot made additional comments regarding the aircraft's excessive speed throughout the remainder of the recording. […]
