I dag er det Valhels mest betroede postselskab, hvor kun de bedst uddannede ryttere får lov at bære posten. De kører gennem karnumhazarder fra by til by, med livet som indsats, for at bringe breve og pakker frem. For få måneder siden skete noget usædvanligt. Tusindvis af breve blev sendt til en adresse, ingen før havde hørt om: et tårn i den gamle by Støv, midt på de rolgornske vidder. Modtageren var en mand ved navn Hr. Tossegod. Kort efter kom endnu en bestilling. Denne gang ikke breve, men tusindvis af pakker, som skulle sendes fra Tossegod til adresser over hele Valhel. Nu overvejer NGH at genåbne den gamle poststation i Støv. Men før beslutningen træffes, sendes to postryttere af sted for at undersøge sagen; Valborg Rose og Colbjørn Hvide køre mod Støv.
